Banana Protein Pancakes

My kids are addicted to pancakes!  Their preferred choice are pancakes from a box but I am on a mission to find a clean pancake recipe that they will LOVE!

I tried the Banana Protein Pancake recipe a few weekends ago.  Saturday or Sunday is usually the day when they are asking for pancakes.  Also on these days I have my husband chiming in too! 

Thank goodness, the pancakes were a hit!  Now, they did realize they were different than the ones I normally make for them but at least they were willing to try these new ones Mommy made.  Luckily, the kids and daddy liked them!

Ingredients...

3 egg whites
1/4 cup oats
2 tablespoons ground flax seed (optional)
1/2 banana
1 scoop protein powder
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 cup baby spinach (optional)


Directions...
  1. Mix all ingredients in a food processor, blender, or magic bullet. 
  2. Pour onto griddle or pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray over medium high heat.
  3. Turn/flip when the pancakes start to bubble (about 1 minute each side)
Servings: Makes 1 large or 2 small pancakes

I of course made these pancakes for my whole family so I quadrupled the amount of ingredients in order to make a batch for all of us.
