Who wouldn’t love waking up in the morning not only to a
pleasant aroma coming from the kitchen but knowing breakfast is already waiting
for you. All you have to do is roll out
of bed and head down those steps. Next grab a bowl and have some nice warm
oatmeal!
When preparing this dish you have to make sure you use
STEEL CUT OATS rather than regular oatmeal.
Ingredients…
3 cups Steel Cut Oats
3 Cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk10 cups water (use more if you want a more liquid texture)
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
½ cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons cinnamon
2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
1.5 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Directions…
1. Spray your crock pot with non-stick cooking
spray (very important otherwise you will need a chisel and hammer to get your pot clean)
2. Put all the ingredients into your slow cooker
and cook overnight on low for approximately 8 hours
3. When you wake in the morning the oatmeal will
need a good stir!
After stirring this is what it looked like!
Makes approximately 12 servings.
Enjoy!
